Device Reverse Engineer – Santa Clara, CA 95051

Startup technology service company in materials and device engineering with good business model and funding status is seeking for a talented Device Reverse Engineer with the following qualifications:

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Identify customer’s need and find service solutions
  • Technical consulting in the field of semiconductor, LED, Auto, and other industries
  • Manage the whole service workflow
  • Organize data and generate service/analysis reports for customers in a timely manner
  • Be the core person to lead the Reliability/FA team as it grows
  • Contribute to the workflow system development along with other teams
  • Business travel overseas several times a year
  • Attend international conferences to update and learn new emerging technologies
  • Perform other related duties as required or as directed

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in science or engineering with 5+ years previous experience or Ph. D. degree with any level of experience for consideration
  • Hands-on experience in reliability/FA/device engineering, ideal to have experiences in all above areas but not required
  • Willing to communicate by phone or email during off-work hours with international business partners
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiar to key reliability and FA tools
  • Familiar to electric and/or IC circuits
  • Programming capability is a plus, but not required
  • Good English oral and written communication and listening skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced, multiple project environment
  • Team-oriented and comfortable in giving and receiving constructive group feedback
  • Strong work ethic of working hard, punctual, reliable, setting and achieving goals
  • Detail oriented, creative, dependable and consistently following through, able to show a commitment to completing tasks on time
  • Positive attitude and the ability to acknowledge mistakes and learn quickly
  • Flexible in learning new skills and adjust to shifting goals and meeting tight deadlines
